How to place an order and what details we need
Orders can be placed by email through our contact form with the item description, sizes, quantity and your delivery address. If you are unsure of the exact holder, collet or workholding part, send a photo, the machine model and the material you are machining, and we will help match the right option.
For faster processing, include your company name, contact person, VAT details if needed, and whether the order is for collection in Struandale or delivery to another area. Clear information helps us confirm stock, pricing and the correct fit first time, which saves time on the shop floor.
- Item name or part number if available
- Machine type and spindle or nose details
- Required quantity and delivery area
- Any special requirement such as runout limits or cooling through the tool
Lead times for stock items, special orders and service work
Lead times depend on whether the item is in stock, needs to be brought in, or forms part of a service such as tool inspection or presetting. Standard stock items like tool holders, collets and common workholding parts are usually the quickest to move, while less common sizes may take longer.
For service items such as scanner calibration, printer maintenance, chuck jaw machining or vise alignment, we first confirm the job and book a suitable slot. If you are running production and have a shutdown window, tell us that early so we can plan around it. In the Eastern Cape weather, coastal humidity can also affect storage and machine condition, so it helps to book regular checks before corrosion or runout starts costing time.
- Stock items: quickest turnaround once payment or account release is confirmed
- Special orders: depends on size, quantity and supplier availability
- Service work: booked according to workload and site access
What technical help is available before you buy
Our team assists with practical technical questions, from holder selection to scanner setup and basic machine fitment. Johan Bester handles application support, while Morne van der Merwe oversees the business and can assist with larger production queries. If you need help deciding between options, send your target tolerances, material type and the machine you are using.
We often help customers with runout checks, presetting advice, holder cleaning and inspection of worn tooling. If a cutter is chattering, a part is out by a few hundredths, or your setup is not repeating properly, it is often worth checking the holder, collet, jaws and alignment before changing the whole process.
- Tool holder and collet selection
- Workholding setup and vise alignment
- Runout, inspection and presetting support
- 3D scanning and printer-related advice
Collections, delivery and coverage from Gqeberha
We are based in Struandale, Gqeberha and support machine shops in Markman, Coega, Kariega, Despatch and the Port Elizabeth CBD, with nationwide service available for suitable orders. Collection and delivery options are arranged according to the order type, location and urgency. If you have an urgent breakdown or a short production deadline, mention it when you enquire.
For deliveries, please make sure the address is correct and there is someone available to receive the parcel or release the goods at the gate. Many industrial sites have access rules or security procedures, so it helps to give the site name, contact number and any loading bay instructions. That keeps things moving without delays at the entrance.
- Collection in Struandale by prior arrangement
- Delivery to industrial and commercial addresses
- Nationwide shipping for suitable items
- Urgent orders handled case by case
Service bookings for tooling, scanners and printers
Our support does not stop at sales. We also provide tool regrinding, tool inspection, holder cleaning, chuck jaw machining, presetting service, scanner calibration and printer maintenance. If you have a tool room that needs regular attention, a scheduled service plan can reduce downtime and keep output more consistent.
When booking service, tell us what equipment you have, what fault you are seeing, and whether the issue is constant or only happening on certain jobs. For example, a jaw set that marks parts, a scanner that drifts after warm-up, or a printer that stops during long jobs all point to different fixes. If load-shedding has affected your operation, mention that too because power interruptions can change machine settings and calibration.
- Describe the fault clearly and include any error messages
- Send photos or measurements where possible
- Tell us if the machine was moved, dropped or recently serviced
- Ask about collection and delivery for repair items
Who to contact and what happens next
Once we receive your query, it is directed to the right person so you do not have to repeat yourself. Ayanda Mhlabeni handles sales, Ridwaan Jacobs coordinates service, Zanele Nkomo assists with 3D solutions, and Nokulunga Dlamini leads customer support. If your request involves a quote, a technical check or a service booking, we will confirm the next step and keep the communication clear.
Our aim is simple: answer the question, confirm the detail and keep your production moving. If you need help after hours or over a busy shutdown period, send the full information in one message so we can respond with the right part, the right service and the right timing.
